The world is currently looking spellbound towards Ukraine; the war against the European country is causing great concern, especially in Europe, about a military escalation. But there is also a lot of sympathy for the people of the stricken country. For most people in the West, the theatre of war is very far away. Omar El Manfalouty has intensively followed the suffering of those who set out to flee Ukraine.
